This is in response to Cyndie Watts-Coit's Review posted above; A number of years ago, Cyndie had hail damage to her roof, my husband Rich Alliston was involved with insurance adjusting full time and she had relied on her brother Larry Watts (of now Expert Roofing) to have the repairs completed. There was a time limit to recover depreciation that was about to expire. Relating to my husband Rich Alliston she could not rely on her brother she needed her roof completed. She requested my husband Rich Alliston help her in getting the roof replaced. He had been away and recommended someone to do her roof that in the past had been reputable and other people had recommended. My husband Rich Alliston was not available to inspect when the work was completed and the workmanship was substandard. My husband Rich Alliston assisted her in obtaining her depreciation and concluding her claim. He never charged her a dime, only assisted her as a friend (along with leveling her above ground pool, and pet sitting) (God Bless this woman) (Marshall Hometown Roofing was not involved). Her roof leak at that point consisted of condensation puddling within in the bubble of her skylight, which was sealed on the exterior. My husband Rich Alliston resealed the flange of the tunnel type skylight as a precaution protecting the drywall and was never told of another leak. Larry Watts lived with my husband, traveled with him as he taught him insurance adjusting in different states, My husband Rich Alliston introduced him to people he worked for and Larry Watts became employable. Initially Larry and my husband Rich Alliston had endeavored to work in business together at the inception of Expert Roofing, when my husband Rich Alliston told Larry he could not be in business with him (trust and transparency issues), we were separated from approximately 10,000 dollars that we had entrusted to Larry Watts in starting the venture. With a tear in his eye, and that sincere face he related he would work it out with us. Larry Watts would not return my husband Rich Alliston's phone calls, nor meet with him. Our attempts to resolve issues with Larry required an attorney, who eventually told us the cost vs. benefit was not going to be worth it. (God Bless you Larry, we trust God to have His way in your life) It took him months to remove reviews he misappropriated from the work done by Marshall Hometown Roofing.
In response to the review posted below by Richard Alliston of "Marshall Hometown Roofing," (under the account of Jessica Alliston) who continually trolls our webpages, Facebook account, and job sites. Richard Alliston's post is deceptive by design and other than merely just trying to cover the facts, he appears to be seeking undeserved sympathy painting himself as a victim that in actuality he is not. He states he helped Cyndie Coit without charging her a dime, he does not state all of the things Cyndie Coit did for him without charging him a dime. Marshall Hometown Roofing WAS involved in the repairs as she stated. I read Richard Alliston's explanation of her leak and it makes me laugh. The interior water damage to her bathroom was not caused by "condensation puddling within the bubble of her skylight." This will make any roofer, expert, or not smile from ear to ear if he should read this and review her roof. This assessment in itself proves that Richard Alliston of Marshall Hometown Roofing is not familiar with roofing, rather he re-sales the work of other roofing companies under his name. I would love to hear the explanation in detail of how he "reflashed" the skylight. In his review he also misrepresents the relationship and circumstances surrounding Larry Watts. Richard Alliston was NOT separated from 10,000 dollars that he entrusted to Larry Watts in starting the venture. Because there is not even a chance that Richard Alliston has a miss-understanding in regards to this; this further shows the lack of honesty and integrity of Richard Alliston. He appears to be willing to say anything in a desperate attempt to steal business from Expert Roofing & Construction. The last note I want to make for the benefit of those reading his outright lies posted on OUR website in an attempt to divert business to his page is that I strongly think it's distasteful for him to use reference to "God," in order to attempt to apply credibility to his nonsense.
We had Expert Roofing come and look at some repairs needed to stop those nagging leaks. I am impressed with their expertise and knowledge as to how to find the correct spot. After speaking with Mr. Watts, I found him to be extremely competent. He went into great explanation as to how the water was entering into our house, and then how it "ran" across beams and ending up where the "leak" appeared. Very conscientious and courteous. I have no problem recommending him to family and friends. A job done right!
Larry Watts and team recently worked on a Roof Replacement project for my home. Larry's attention to detail is uncanny. He sees potential problems and addresses them immediately. He encourages his staff to strive for excellence and to share his vision. When he's working on your home, it's as if he's working on his own. He brings a level of expertise and care that's rare. He displays a level of integrity that's unmatched. I believe I have the best looking roof in my neighborhood. I highly recommend anyone who needs a roof replacement or repair to consider hiring him. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
Larry and his crew did a superb job of roofing our 1920's era home... would highly recommend him for any roofing job!!
